Leonard Griffie is a veteran of the blues club and festival circuit, having played shows all over the United States, Canada, and several countries in Europe. His songwriting style manages to be both fresh and traditional, running the gamut from blues to old style R&B; to Soul to Jazz. While considered by many to be a blazing live guitarist, on record he follows the example of his greatest influences and plays just what the song calls for.
